AWS was investing heavily in startups through migration credits, but ROI was unclear, sales teams lacked guidance, and overlapping credits led to wasted spend.
As Sr. Global Program Manager, I built the strategy and operations for the Startup Migrate program- reviewing startup architectures, expanding credit allocation from $50M to $90M, and tying investments directly to ARR outcomes. I launched ROI dashboards for Finance, created sales enablement tools, and introduced guardrails to prevent misuse.
The result was a $90M global initiative with tighter ROI controls, faster sales cycles, and improved alignment across Finance, Sales, and Startup BD, turning scattershot credit distribution into a strategic growth engine for scaling startups and AWS revenue.
